Market: US/CanadaOSI VP275 Multi-Purpose Silicone Sealant is a one-part, low modulus, neutral curing silicone sealant. The high performance characteristics of OSI VP275 provide for excellent primerless adhesion to most porous and non-porous building materials. The product cures at room temperature by reaction with moisture in the air to produce a permanently flexible seal that is weatherproof and waterproof. OSI VP275 offers superior resistance to oxidation, UV light, temperature variations and is non-corrosive to most metals. The low modulus properties of the sealant allow it to withstand extension/compression movement capability up to plus or minus 50% of the original joint width. OSI VP275 is solvent-free and non-toxic. It can be easily applied at temperatures from 0 deg F (-18 deg C) to 110 deg F (43 deg C).

Use with adequate ventilation. Methyl ethyl ketoxime, which irritates eyes and respiratory tract, is released during curing. Do not get in eyes or on skin or clothing. Remove contact lenses before using sealant. Wash hands after using. Do not swallow. Keep out of the reach of children.

Emergency Overview: Warning: May cause an allergic skin reaction. Causes skin irritation. Causes serious eye irritation.
Potential Health Effects
Routes of Entry: Skin, Inhalation, Eyes.
Eye Contact: Uncured product irritates the eyes.
Skin Contact: Brief contact with the uncured adhesive may irritate the skin or cause a rash. Uncured product will irritate lips, gums and tongue.
Inhalation: When heated to temperatures exceeding 300 deg F (150 deg C) in the presence of air, silicones may form formaldehyde vapors. Formaldehyde is a potential cancer hazard and a known skin and respiratory sensitizer. Vapors irritate the eyes, nose and throat. Safe handling conditions may be maintained by keeping formaldehyde vapor concentrations below the OSHA permissible limit. Mild respiratory tract irritation.
